AXTON’s PULSAR Series IR and White LED lights are designed to run only in pulsed mode, and sync with camera shutter to capture fast moving objects. Pulsed mode is widely used for license plate recognition (LPR/ANPR), cargo/container tracking, aircraft tail number recognition, as well as many other applications utilizing machine vision technology. Wavelength options include: 850nm or 940nm* Infrared, 730nm (deep red) and white visible light.
*NOTE: 940nm IR Illuminators are frequently used in traffic application, as 940nm wavelength is completely invisible to the human eye, and doesn’t interfere with other light signals. See 940nm IR illuminators.
